Spend an afternoon imitating mountain, sand and rock textures with poured casein, a water-based medium with many tricks up its sleeve. Beginning painters will be delighted to produce a professional looking landscape. Experienced hands will find a tool easily combined with their own favorite medium.

Please Bring:

  • Brushes - an old #4 bright for mixing, a 1" brush, a fine detail brush and others of your choice, all synthetic, no sable
  • Jars - at least 6 small lidded glass jars
  • Disposable Containers - 6 shallow plastic tubs or pie tins
  • Absorbent rags - cotton T-shirts are good
  • Water bottle with a squirt top
  • Pictures of Arizona mountains and desert with an emphasis on texture
  • Clothing you can paint in
